This little bar in opposite the Fiona Hotel in the Village of Symi, is where the
local people go and although new this year, it has been busy both summer and winter. The barman George Hajiyianakis, is welcoming with a friendly smile. You can have a conversation without having to shout over the music, which is good Greek Stuff that the local people enjoy. The bar offers a pool table, which is popular with the local boys, I have not yet seen the girls play, perhaps they would be better than the boys would, and put them to shame! Who knows? Women feel comfortable here. The bar is popular with local girls, you will not be harassed, which is refreshingly nice, and unusual in Greece. The regular crowd seems like a good bunch of friendly people of all ages. The prices are standard, and the place is clean. |
